Good day! Dzień dobry! Ohaayoo gozaimasu! ¡Buenos días! Guten Tag!

My name is Piotr Stępniak. Hereby this piece of cyberspace will become my virtual home.

There are some parts of the site which are still not finished but I hope there is enough stuff to keep you here for a while ;-)
Here's a brief note on how it's set up:

Budo is a place where I'd like to drop few lines about martial arts, especially those I have close contact with. These will be Ju-jitsu, Chi-Ryu Aiki Ju-Jitsu, Aikido, Iaido and Kobudo. Now there are much larger and dedicated sites for each of the above so I will not intend to copy them. My aim is to provide basic but quality information about the aforementioned and some personal thougths.

Biotech & Bioinf, meaning biotechnology and bioinformatics. My studies and future profession. As a start I will try to put together a little bit of information on microarray analysis with a drop of humour on top of it.

Blog will be a junkyard of my personal thoughts (or the lack of them) upon different topics. For now it will be only in Polish, but you never know...

Under Friends there will be my close and further friends -people who I wish to thank in this uncommon way for being around and creating the reality I live in. If you are not here yet, this means that I either had no time to put you there or did not find a suitable photo, so please send me one ;)

Gallery as it states, will be a photo album. Some of the pics may seem abstract to you, or at least not having anything to do with the rest of the site... Well, I like photography and regret not having too much time to take pics recently.

Please feel welcomed to post in the Guest Book adding your opinions, both positive and negative ;)

In Links section I shall put few sites which for various reasons I will be recommending to you :)

I created this website using the following technologies: XHTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and mod_rewrite from Apache, knowledge of which I am still happily widening ;-) My blog is proudly powered by WordPress and gallery displays photos using LightBox both of which I sincerely recommend.
